Costa lanta hotel

We loved our hotel on ko lanta, so chic it feli like something out of architectural digest! It had 21 bungalows made of wood and cement and they each had bug folding barn doors you could open up to let the sea breeze in....also a great pool on the beach anx boardwalk through the woods. take a look!

Scuba at ko ha

We did a full day of diving yesterday out on ko ha. We had a dive master assigned specifically to us which was very nice so we could brush up on our skills! It ws a beautiful rock reef area and we saw a lot of underwater wildlife specific to southeast Asia - boxfish, frogfish, moray eels, shrimp, lobster, piranha, angel fish, clown fish, triggerfish and lots more! We saw tons of jellyfish on the way home....thankfully we were not in the water at that time! We are leaving ko lanta this morning and taking a ferry to kp phi phi for two nights. Love to you all back home, we will be back in 4 days! :)

Ko lanta

We had a fun day on ko lanta. Rented motor bikes and went around the whole perimeter of the island! Passing elephants, monkeys and sea gypsie villages....and ended up pool crashing at a posh resort then on to the lighthouse at the national park. We are set to scuba dive all day tomorrow. Will do our best to post after....soaking up the sun here, love to you all!

Rock climbing!

Railay Beach is one of the world's best climbing areas because you climb overlooking some crazy-beautiful views.

Railay

Here are a few pics from our current location- phra nana beach on railay. It is listed as one of the top five beaches in the world, gorgeous view looking out over big rock formations! The resort has an infinity pool that looks right out over the beach and tgere are monkeys throughput the grounds. We have been spoiled at the resort with big breakfasts with fresh mango juice and anything your heart could desire :) we went on a pretty intense hike yesterday up and down to a private hidden lagoon, I came back so muddy! Today is our last day before we head to another island, ko lanta, this afternoon. Enjoy the pics! Xo

Stormy seas yesterday

Ended up staying at ao Ning beach yesterday, as the seas were too rough to pass to any other islands. We found a lovely little tropical hotel at the foot of a cliff and ended up renting a motorbike to go into Krabi town for the infamous night market. More crazy food stalls, lots to taste and try! See pics of cody below. The Sun is out today and we are about to hop on a boat to railay beach....famous for the cliffs and rock climbing :)

Hostel in Bangkok suk 11

Quirky place! Can't expect too much for 30 bucks a night ;)

Nairobi to Bangkok

Planes, taxis, boats, trains, shared minivans, motorcycle, tuk-tuk (motorized rickshaw), and good-old feet - we have traveled them all to get to Bangkok and around the city. Bustling, colorful, odoriferous streetside markets and wonderful (and mysterious) food are some of the fun in this city. Yesterday, we traveled some of the countryside to see a local floating market where some of the vendors sell foods from their little boats - great local experience!
